Market Life, Vendor Markets

The Weekend Spread With Taste Of El Paso Fest!

This weekend I did a market with Taste Of El Paso Fest! It was held here in El Paso, TX at Ballyhoo Social. This market is a monthly market that takes place every 3rd Saturday. This event was the first of The Weekend Spread. It went great! I met a lot of wonderful vendors and one vendor that I met at my very first market in March (with Sun City Vendors), was there.  This event was a wonderful experience, and I look forward to next month. The only annoying issue was the heat! Here in El Paso, the heat doesn’t play. It’s intense but we made it through. I have to thank my husband for doing these markets with me. I don’t drive so I do depend on him, but he is also very patient and kind enough to help set up.  We had fun and many people with eyes of wonder, especially kids were very drawn to my items. It really feels good when people are captivated by what you do. I’ve never truly experienced anything like this. You don’t forget reactions and you certainly don’t forget how you made one happy with what you do.  My goal is simply to bring a smile to someone even on a bad day, because we all want to be happy and sometimes one simple gesture can change everything. My next event is next weekend June 27th at Kelidescope Art Market

I also had the opportunity to purchase from several vendors who are just incredible, and highly recommended!

Refreshed and Restored Lemonade – I had Lavender Dream and my husband had Shark Attack. Delicious and refreshing. Perfect for hot summer days. Check out their page and get yourself some fresh lemonade!

Arti Churros – The churros are a wonderful sweet, we enjoyed them. Check out their page and get some churros for your next event!

De-Nor Chicharrones – Chicharron cracklings that are just too good to resist. We enjoyed them! Check out their page and get yourself some chicharrones!

The Joyful Rise – This is one of the best sourdough breads, we’ve had. They also sell cookies and many homemade treats. Check out their page and get yourself something sweet!

Jenny From The Barrio – I purchased a pair of earrings from her and I love them! Check out her page and purchase yourself a pair of cute earrings!

Berry Nice Pens – She is one of the first people I met when I did my first market back in March. Her pens and stationery are so cute and I could not resist the Hello Kitty pen I bought! Check out her page for cute stationery and goodies!
